Zimbabwe is a very spiritually aware country, but is lacking in solid Biblical truth. There is still a lot of turmoil, both politically, socially and spiritually and many people are struggling. We are living in the city of Chiredzi and are striving to have an impact on the community through ministering at Chiredzi Christian Church as well as be actively involved in the community. Currently, we are only connected in ministry with other Zimbabweans and South Africans.
Pertinent statistics for Zimbabwe:
- Religion in Zimbabwe: syncretic (part Christian, part indigenous beliefs) 50%, Christian 25%, indigenous beliefs 24%, Muslim and other 1%.
- HIV/AIDS: 14% of the population.

NEEDS:
Above all else, we need prayer for the work here in Zimbabwe. We are trying to train up leaders in our local church to serve. We need prayers for wisdom and perseverance. We are asking people to pray for us as we’re $1,100 short of our monthly budget. We’ve also been trying to help the church save funds for a church van.
OPPORTUNITIES: We’re always open and keen for short term groups or individuals to come over to minister and encourage the believers here. If you are interested, please contact us.
